The JA New Jersey Inspire Virtual Career Fair is a career exploration platform for students grades 6-12. The virtual fair & optional curriculum are designed to help students make the connection between their lives today and their careers tomorrow by giving them the resources and skills to begin planning for their futures.
The Inspire Virtual Career Fair takes place in a rich virtual environment that mimics the dynamics of a physical live event, including a virtual lobby, auditorium for webinars, and expo halls with employer booths. We invite you to join us to explore over 100 customized exhibitor booths, which highlight career pathways with local industries and showcase career information, videos, internships and much more.
Students are pre-registered by their schools and will login using their unique username provided by their teacher. There is no password for students and once logged in, click on the building to enter JA Inspire.
For questions relating to JA Inspire access please contact Stephanie at firstname.lastname@example.org
Students will be able to explore JA Inspire and can visit the Information Booth for a list of career clusters, exhibitors, and webinars. The exhibitor booths are found in the Hall and we suggest you visit first the ones matching your interests.
Students earn points in the virtual fair with the chance to win prizes! Earn points by watching videos, completing pre- and post-surveys and more. Leader’s user IDs will be visible on the Leaderboard during the Career Fair. No personal student data is shared.
Some booths will have booth representatives who will answer your question in the Q & A box. Check back to see if your question has been answered. All Q & A will be monitored and there will be no student-to-student chat.
Yes, each student has a bag pack they can save items to and use an email address to forward saved documents, flyers, videos etc.
We will be having 2 Live Days this academic year: December 7, 2022 and May 17, 2023. During our Live Days, industry experts and employers will facilitate Q&A at their virtual booths. Interactions will take place via monitored chat (no audio or video).
If students are unable to attend on the Live Days, the career fair will be accessible on-demand 24/7. Students can spend as much time as they would like on the platform, and return as often as they want.
